Finally, with good weather to get to Davis, and only 100 miles away, we took off about 19:00, and arrived about an hour later, flying over enormous icebergs, then some open water, and finally more frozen sea ice on which the Davis crew had built a runway for the American Hercules due to land sometime in the next few days.
